Session One Overview- NIH Road Map Initiative

Given the critical partnership we have with the NIH, the October session on the new Road Map Initiative will be led by a senior NIH Official, Dr. Belinda Seto, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) at NIH.  Faculty will get first-hand strategies on developing collaborative intra- and inter-disciplinary proposals with funding sourced from various NIH institutes, the core of the Road Map Initiative.  Former NIH researcher and leading UMB Dental School faculty member, Dr. Ronald Dubner, Chair, Biomedical Sciences, will provide the University perspective and give specific advice on following the “road map.”
