Gail Knott - Contract & Grant Specialist
Ms. Knott joined CVIP in May 2004, which continues her more than twenty-five dedicated years with the State of Maryland.  Ms. Knott provides support for all patent-related activities, including routine correspondence with inventors and outside counsel, coordinates legal documents, in-house patent records, and manages in-house docketing system.  She also ensures compliance with intellectual property provisions of federal funded grants, external funded contracts, and all UMB’s obligations under license agreements with corporate partners.
