File an invention, copyright or tangible property disclosure form with our office to initiate the process of managing your discovery.
**New** Submit an Invention (online)
An online invention disclosure form is now available via myUM portal. Once you log-in to the portal, on the left side of screen under enterprise menu, click on UMBiz. You may find a brief instruction for submitting an online disclosure here. Only UM personnel can have an access to myUM portal. If you need to obtain myUM portal login, please contact ASC helpdesk at help@umaryland.edu.
Submitting an online disclosure will allow OTT staff to work on it immediately as your disclosure information will be added into our system instantly.
For an inventor who has an appointment with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), please complete the VA Certification of Invention Form by downloading the form below and submit it along with the UMB disclosure form.
